A good movie

“I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since it was directed by Joseph Losey, I thought I might as well check it out. To be honest, I think it was only the 2nd movie I saw directed by this director but it definitely turned out to be an intriguing watch, that’s for sure. Indeed, even though the French have produced 100’s of movies praising the French resistance and how they bravely fought against the German oppressors, this movie did present a much colder reality displaying that the French society was also filled with cowards, backstabbers and profiters. At the center of this dark and oppressing tale, you have Alain Delon, an actor I definitely should watch more often, who was so charismatic back in those days.
