"The English dub of this premiered at the BFI, and the fact that it was dubbed was presented as "bad news", as well as that it had a few edits, but the "good news" was that it was mostly unedited. However, it was heavily edited and reanimated. Lu had a much deeper backstory, the story was relocated to a more industrial town, and new jokes included a video-game-quality-CG slam on The Shape of Water. In fact, the BFI had so much fun with this full house of a showing that they paused it during a fad"
