“I have been meaning to watch this. Olympus Has Fallen was awesome in my opinion. So when I saw this was going to be coming out I knew I would have to watch it when I had the time. I haven't seen anything by Babak Najafi, but I have heard of some of his stuff. It took four people to create the screenplay. Sometimes it works. Other times that's a bad sign. Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt worked on the first film as well as Expendables 3 which is promising. Christian Gudegast wrote A Man Apart which was a decent movie. Chad St. John wrote the Punisher: Dirty Laundry short as well as the upcoming XXX Vin Diesel sequel. We will see how they all work as a group. Well that was an interesting beginning. "Technically this film is trashy, and is like an extra-gruesome episode of "24," but I had a lot of fun watching this, with some very entertaining action sequences, and a good high-concept plot, but feels too short, and doesn't work as a direct sequel. 6.6/10"
"When: March 19th First-Time Viewing: Yes. How: In theaters. What'd I Think?: Trashy, jingoistic, but profoundly entertaining 90's style action film. My Rating: 7/10 Other Notes: NA."
" First Viewing Viewing Date: March 19th Via: Cinema Plot: In London for the Prime Minister's funeral, Mike Banning discovers a plot to assassinate all the attending world leaders."
"The sequel to the action movie Olympus Has Fallen. If you remember the first movie which had tons of explosions and action, it was like the Gerard Butler version of Die Hard. And while adrenaline junkies (like myself) enjoyed the thrilling stunts and explosions, I certainly didn't expect enough ground to make a sequel. London Has Fallen is about one thing: action. Within the first thirty minutes the excitement breaks out: flashing guns, big explosions, and extras flopping violently in the street"
"Tomatometer Guess: 44%. This sequel to the sleeper hit, Olympus Has Fallen, looks just as fun and violent as the first. Actual Score: 24%. London Has Fallen would be a great follow-up to the first if it weren't for its editing. I'm not just referring to the shaky cam in some of the action scenes, but the disjointed and messy pacing throughout the film. Still, it's a fun if forgettable watch."
