Nicolas Winding Refn for sure loves style over substance but unlike other directors that do it none of them can pull it off like Refn does. If you're a fan of Refn's other film Only God Forgives than id say you just might also like this one. "

2016: Movies that I see (130 movies items)"06/25/16 Directed by: Nicholas Winding Refn Like every Refn film its as shallow and vapid as possible but at least that fits with the plot this time. It looks decent like all his films but the pacing is rushed and the high-school film project level symbolism was a bit insulting. "
