"E' un film assai rumoroso per essere di Bergman, ma i suoni stridenti che lo caratterizzano sin dai titoli di testa ben si accordano con le vite inconcludenti dei suoi protagonisti. Ne risulta una tristezza asfissiante (del resto l'ambiente circense aiuta) in cui figure mediocri vanno alla ricerca di un rapporto fuori dalla banalità: ma Albert viene rimbalzato dalla (ex) moglie e Anne non trova nulla fra le braccia del bel Frans. Così che l'unica opzione è riprendere il tran-tran e la strada."

"March 24th Directed by: Ingmar Bergman This film plays like the yin to La Strada's yang, and in that way it's a pretty typical Bergman film. In that, every shot is filled with moody atmosphere and the usual Bergman motifs. It's a good movie, it just didn't sink its hooks in me like it probably should have. Blu-Ray."
