As campy as it is stupid, Hercules vs the Hydra (or The Loves of Hercules depending on which title it’s listed under) is the type of swords-and-sandals bargain basement entertainment that’s built for cult appreciation. " Familiar Actress: Jayne Mansfield True Rating: 0.3/10 Wow this movie was pretty much garbage. Though we all knew that since it was part of the new Mystery Science Theater collection. You have the husband of a well known actress playing the lead. He can't act and even struggles to look strong in some moments. Jayne Mansfield is quite nice to look at, but she wasn't very good either. I'm not familiar with her stuff all to well, so I'm not sure if she is always like that or if it is just here."
