"A decent enough British horror film that is reminiscent of the old Amicus anthology movies of the 70's, in which a professor setting out to investigate three unexplained and unconnected paranormal incidents, only to discover that something in his past is about to rear its head. Based on the hugely successful stage play, this has plenty to admire, from the slickness of the direction to the performances and a delicious twist, yet it relies on jump scares and after A Quiet Place, this pales in its "
