“Ah, Ghost in the Shell, fácilmente una de las obras mas vanguardista que haya podido ver. Es gracias a la existencia de GitS que cosas como ergo proxy, Texhnolyze y otras obras anime se empezaron a enfocar en el terreno de lo cyberpunk para explorar diversos tópicos relacionados con la tecnología y su uso diario, e inclusive es la principal inspiración para matrix, obra que por su parte también haría escuela en occidente. Y por otra parte, GitS fue una de las razones por la cual la industria del anime recuperaría sus fuerzas y volvería a renacer, junto a Neon Genesis Evangelion.
