“To be honest, it has been a while since I have seen this movie and maybe I should re-watch it at some point. I remember quite well, when it was released, there was a big outcry because it was so different than the actual comic-book written by Alan Moore. Well, in my case, when I saw the damned thing, I didnโt read the damned thing yet (I would read it many years later) and maybe thatโs why I thought that this movie was in fact quite enjoyable. Indeed, back in those days, I was still a huge fan of Johnny Depp and even though he probably looked too good to play this part (especially if you are familiar with the main character in the comic-book), I thought he gave a solid performance here.
