"When it comes to favorite directors, Stanley Kubrick definitely ranks somewhere in my top five. "Re-watch - June 10th The last time I watched Eyes Wide Shut it was in theatres, so I was definitely overdue. And while I used to think I owned a copy of it, the first time I finally went to my shelves to watch it I realized I was wrong. Now that I've seen it again I'll have to correct that. Everything about this film is impressive, from the first frame to the last. The visuals are stellar & had stuck with me all these years, and how many films can do that from a single viewing?
