My Movie Diary 2016 (235 movies items)

"2.13 A 4-man posse go on a rescue mission without no real expectations of what they’re up against, which is a gung-ho tribe of cannibals. “Bone Tomahawk” features only one feed-gore scene but its so sickening it remains with you until the movie’s end, and which also gets the movie classified as horror—something rare in the Western genre. No stranger to strange Westerns, Kurt Russell heads a cast that includes Patrick Wilson Matthew Fox and Richard Jenkins. "

Film Journal - February 2016 (8 movies items)

"DAMN! This one really surprised me! A little indie western/horror turned out to be one of my top favorite films of 2015! The action is intense, the cast is great, and the violence is incredibly hard hitting and gruesome, yet used very sparingly. Recommended!"
