"And the Nominees are... *Yalitza Aparicio- Roma *Glenn Close- The Wife *Olivia Colman- The Favourite *Lady Gaga- A Star Is Born *Melissa McCarthy- Can You Ever Forgive Me? And the Oscar goes to... After that surprise Golden Globe win, Close has won every other major prize, including a very important SAG win. Add to that the fact that this is her seventh nomination, with no previous victories; i.e. it's time. That's not to say that she's the runaway favorite here, as The Favourite star looks"

"1.30 Bradley Cooper, 2018 So this felt like a movie that Bradley Cooper actually wanted to make and we're in a sad state of affairs if that's something I feel is worth praising. It's got good feel for the most part and the pacing issues are minor and mostly in the first half, though I think that's more due to they type of narrative they're telling and less so any conscious decision. Overall, a little cheesy, a little silly but it's nice. Downloaded"

I don't think it's necessarily in the number #3 spot to win, but DGA, PGA, SAG, and WGA nominations bode exceedin"
