"Re-watch - Dec. 5th I've been itching to revisit 12 Monkeys for several months now given the present world state, but kept holding off for no clear reason. I think, however, that watching it in December makes the most sense anyway given the winter setting and the fact the events seem to mostly take place in this month. I don't have a whole lot new to add to the conversation around this film, but I will say that the ending hit me a lot differently this time around. Just a thought: I'll have to "

If I remember it correctly, I saw it twice when it came out and I thought the whole thing was just spellbinding. Like most of the movies dealing with time travel, many things didn't make much sense but Gilliam didn't even try to rationalize what was going on whereas lesser movies would spend a terrible amount of time trying to convince"
