Winter (2014) in South Dakota (USA)

During a short conversation at work in regards to our rather light snowfall this winter (2014-2015) a co-worker said he would send some photos of what his family typically experiences in his hometown area located is the great state of South Dakota, Lead in particular, just off I-90 close to Rapid City, near the Wyoming border. When I saw them I decided to shut my mouth and be happy with what we have.

These pictures were from about a year ago (01/05/14). I'm not sure it ever melted before this years snowfall started.
