Oliver & Company (1988)
My sister and I loved this film as children and we still love it now. It's production date (1988) and UK video release date (1996 or 1997) surprised me.
Stompgal87's rating:
I didn't hear about this film until 2003 when I read a review of it in my then-favourite magazine Mizz. I watched it for the first time this year and it was enchanting.

The Black Cauldron (1985)
Like 'Oliver and Company,' this was made in the 80s but not released on video until the 90s.
Stompgal87's rating:
I saw this film as a child and had forgotten about it for several years.
Stompgal87's rating:
The Great Mouse Detective (1986)
UK title 'Basil the Great Mouse Detective.' Again this is a film I hadn't seen since I was a child.
Stompgal87's rating:
I only heard of this film when reading a review of it on IMDB. While it was beautifully animated, I was let down by its lack of dialogue.
Stompgal87's rating:
My Dog Tulip (2011)
This is one film I came across on IMDB by fluke and since I love dogs and animation, I decided to give it a go. While the animation had a sketchy, flickery look, the narrative engaged me.
Stompgal87's rating:
Again this is another film I discovered by fluke on IMDB. While slowly-paced, the artistry is lovely, there is good chemistry between the leading dogs and the voice acting is superb.
Stompgal87's rating:
Here is a list of films I personally find underrated.
