Striking images merge the city's past and present?

The Hungarian Parliament Building hasn't changed much from 1976. It is still the tallest building in Budapest today.

While the seasons in these two photos taken in the exact same spot on Gellert Hill in Budapest may be drastically different, the beautiful scenery and backdrop showing the Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge hasn't changed. While one woman sunbathes in her bikini in 1969, visitors bundle up to check out the view in 2013.

Though there is still a swing set in this Budapest park, the wooden swing planks from 1959 have been replaced by modern green ones.

Photographer Kerenyi Zoltan found vintage black and white photos depicting Budapest from decades past and then proceeded to shoot his own images in the exact same location and direction. Here, a man takes a video in 1958, while the same large street is seen in 2013.
