Deja Entendu - Brand New
This song is hands down the saddest song for me. WHY? The song was written by the singer to his grandfather when he learned he had lung cancer. This song hits so close to home since I myself have been living with my grandmother having lung cancer for fourteen years of my life and it['s a hard journey to watch her suffer all those years. With lyrics like "If I could I would shrink myself and sink through your skin to your blood cells
and remove whatever makes you hurt but I am too weak to be your cure." pretty much explain how I've felt for so long.

Atmosphere - Joy Division
Oh man what can I say about this song, there are so many reasons why it's sad. One the song itself is haunting and really pulls you into what Ian Curtis' mind was like, two It was released as an A-Side after Curtis' suicide at the age of 23 and not to mention that they play it in the movie Control right after they show the scene where he kills himself!!! I will always love this song and Ian Curtis. RIP

Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton
This song was written after Clapton's four year old son fell to his death and you can just hear the heartache in Clapton's voice every time he sings this song.

Pearl Jam - Pearl Jam
This one not only gets me but my mother as well. Every time I hear the line "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know๏ปฟ you'll be a star In somebody else's sky, but why, why, why Can't it be, can't it be mine." I'm done for.
