The Room (2003)
A true masterpiece of fail, I must say. Never ever has a film this bad had such a fascinating history as well as a well-deserved cult reputation. What was intended as a gripping drama ended up as being a wonderful laugh riot with so many unforgettable moments. The sex scenes, Denny being a creepy stalker, Johnny´s legendary lines, you name it. Every time I watch it, I notice something new in the movie (either in the writing or the details), which really shows how fascinating it is. I don´t know what Tommy Wiseau was thinking when creating this whole mess of a movie, but I´m still going to thank him greatly for one of the greatest so bad it´s good movies in film history.

Troll 2 (1990)
It´s supposed to be a horror movie, but ends up feeling like a bad children´s movie on drugs. The effects and the make-up of this movie look like a home-made sketch comedy video for Halloween, and the whole premise of trolls/goblins magically turning people into green slimy plants is just WTF with a capital W. I have never had this much fun watching a bad horror movie in my life. And who doesn´t love that "Oh my Goood!" scene?

Hands down the worst animated movie ever, making Foodfight look like a Miyazaki movie. The whole idea of doing like a film like this about a real tragedy is pretty insulting, but the way they do it make it almost hysterical. With low-quality animation, characters ripped off from classic Disney and Don Bluth movies and a total mindrape of a story, it´s impossible for me to watch this movie without cracking up. And the less said about the rapping dog the better.

Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010)
Birds by Alfred Hitchcock this ain´t. This film´s legendary reputation is definitely deserved. Pretty much everything from cinematography, writing and acting is done all wrong, but there´s something about the surreal and nonsensical tone of the movie that just keeps the viewer sucked in for all the craziness. So many memorably hysterical moments in this movie that I can´t even count them all, from the terrible bird effects to Damien Carter´s catchy song number. God bless you, James Nguyen, for bringing this lovable little travesty to the world.

Battlefield Earth (2000)
This has a lot of common with Dungeons and Dragons, despite being in a different genre. A messy story, cheap effects and John Travolta doing pretty much the same kind of silly performance as Jeremy Irons did. Also the villains have possibly the stupidest evil plan in the history of science fiction by keeping the heroes as close and as armed as possible while they try to steal all the gold of the human race. It´s like one big joke.

Dungeons & Dragons (2000)
Gotta agree with what the Nostalgia Critic said about this one in his famous review. I usually have a soft spot for sword and sorcery-type stories, and when a so bad it´s good movie comes along with the theme, it´s easy for me to have fun with this one. Even though the whole movie feels like an unintentional parody of those stories, it´s not just the convoluted story that makes this such a riot of an experience. The terrible effects, the awkward dialogue between the leads and especially the hammy acting by good old Jeremy Irons are the elements that do that more. A fantastic failure of an adventure.

As a Finnish moviegoer, I usually tend to enjoy even the sillier and more nonsensical movies made in our country (Luokkakokous for example) and bad ones are no exception. Tony Halme steals the show in an enjoyable stereotypical bully character role, and the amateurish cinematography just adds to the trashy fun atmosphere of the movie. It´s a terrible movie, but in a likable way. I´ve seen much worse and less enjoyable ones come out of my country, believe me.

Batman & Robin (1997)
I know some DC fans will hate me for saying this, but I actually enjoy this more than Batman V Superman. Both are terrible movies, but unlike BVS that is just a joyless bore, this is actually kind of fun in a so bad it´s good-way. With the unbelievable campy atmosphere, unintentional innuendos with the dynamic duo and Arnold´s laughable performance as Mr Freeze, it´s actually an enjoyable little trainwreck when watched with a right mindset. I can see why this put the caped crusader´s movie franchise on ice for years, no pun intended.

Kazaam (1996)
It´s pretty much the Shaq-Fu of family comedies. That´s all I gotta say.

Sometimes a bad movie can be a real laugh riot in how inept it is. Here are some whose horridness makes them actually quite an entertaining and sometimes even endearing experience to watch.
