Sheep May Safely Graze

Coming from Wales how could I not do a sheep list?

Welsh sheep are very different from Portuguese; the Welsh are more wooly of course, but also whereas the Welsh chomp and graze peacefully apart, the Portuguese nibble quickly in a close flock together like geese. But beware the vicious gang of sheep above the Rhondda valley in Wales, who will appear from nowhere and mug the unsuspecting motorist who stops for an ice cream. I barely got back in my car alive. My heart went out to a poor sheep on the beach one bitterly cold February day; she had been chased into the sea by a German Shepherd dog and was lying on the sand, on the verge of expiring, but my wife and i managed to vigorously rub and massage some warmth through her freezing soaking fleece (very tiring arm-aching work!) and revive her.

Dolly, a Finn Dorsett ewe, was the first mammal to have been successfully cloned from an adult cell. She was cloned at the Roslin Institute in Scotland and lived there from her birth in 1996 until her death in 2003 when she was six.
