Ghostbusters (1984)
I've debated putting this book into Sci-fi or Science Fantasy. I've settled on science fantasy, although a case could be made for the former. The solution in the end revolves around "crossing the streams" but I'm not sure there's a scientific enough theory behind the movie as a whole to consider it Science Fiction.

A list of Science Fiction, Science Fantasy, and Fantasy movies I own, enjoy or want. I have tried to organize them into the classification they should have. Fantasy can be defined as a tale in which magic is a primary characteristic to the main plot and the resolution of the story revolves around magic or a supernatural power. Science Fantasy can be defined as stories involving science and technology at their periphery, but ultimately the story revolves around some other plot mechanism for resolution. True science fiction can be defined as a story that involves science and technology at the heart of the story and the resolution of the plot depends in some large measure on a scientific theory, either real or made up.
These are, obviously, very short, summary definitions, and leave out some or many of the finer details. An entire book could be devoted to defining each of them. I put these up here to help understand why I classified these movies as I did.
