Koiramäen talossa - Mauri Kunnas
May.
The first Koiramäki book by Mauri Kunnas moved me to the verge of crying like a little baby for sheer nostalgia and a desire to see and live this kind of much simpler, happy life of the days of old, without all this often unnecessary technology and other kinds of no-no distractions of our time. Seitsemän koiraveljestä - Mauri Kunnas
April - May.
A wonderful re-telling of the capo di tutti capi of the Finnish novel. Symphatetic, very faithful to the original, yet also an original work of its own. Includes, for example, beer-drinking and getting drunk, yet still a very pure work of art and highly child-friendly.
