PSX RPG Selection

The Final Fantasy that showed the world the Final Fantasy series were here to stay.

Re-released in FF Chronicles remake. This game had many re-releases, ports and semi-remakes. Why could that be?

My first RPG.

A port of classic oldies, FFV and VI. Considered the best games by many FF fans, especially VI.

One of my personal favorite stories in RPG's and games in general. (Of course I haven't played all these games...yet).

Another port of phenomenal oldies, FFIV and another gem with the SS feel, Chrono Trigger, considered by many the finest RPG of all time.

Back to the origins. A port of what started it all, FFI and FFII, the games that started the name Final Fantasy in an era where RPG's were still in the shadows.

You could say this was the first great Enix RPG on the PSX system, which more than rivals what Square-Soft has been putting out.

The Dragon Warrior/Quest series were started by Enix back in the old days, when RPG's were were unknown to the world. While Final Fantasy grew a lot in western cultures, this one is still the predominant name in Japan.

I only played Dragon Quest VIII on the PS2 and Dragon Quest IX on the DS. And I must say those were some phenomenal games.

Sadly, never released outside Japan.
