Born 18th of June 1940 in Brno, died 3rd of February 1989 in Prague. Painter, graphic artist, theatre and film art director.
Studied at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava (1957–1960) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (1960–1961; Adolf Hoffmeister). Has exhibited on his own since the year 1963, and as part of a group since 1965. Over the years 1964–1979 created one hundred-fifteen film posters.
