Nioh - PlayStation 4
Pros: Good combat system and level design.
Cons: Lack of enemy variety and recycled levels. Difficulty is based on damage and number of enemies.

Shadow of the Colossus - PlayStation 4
Same clunky controls as the original but perfect in any other way.

Dark Souls III - PlayStation 4
Pros: Returned to it's origins and improved some features. Beautiful aesthetics and landscapes. The "you can explore everything you see" quote from Miyazaki holds up.
Cons: Fan-service everywhere. Lack of weapon and build variety. Enemies have above average speed which makes rolling feel slow. Maybe some enemies are unused assets from Bloodborne.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin - PlayStation 4
Pros: Large variety of builds to try out. The PvP is the most fun I've had in any souls game. Best fashion-souls. Decent combat. Good level design for the most part. Good soundtrack.
Cons: Sluggish movement. Awful level transition. Pointless quests. Shallow characters. Some landscapes are lacking.
