My NES Wishlist
A Wishlist of NES games that I would like to one day get around to playing. There's only so many games out there to play that I'm only going to gun for the games that I have a genuine interest in.
My initial count for NES games originally exceeded 250. Knowing full well that I'll never be able to play all 250 of these games, I decided to be pragmatic and narrow my options down as much as humanly possible. Ultimately, I wound up narrowing my options to just 100 games on NES, which is a much more practical number for me to take on. By all accounts, these are pretty much regarded as the 100 best games on the NES, with a few notable omissions. For starters, I opted not to include any games that cannot be beaten, or at the very least, reach a kill screen within an hour. So, no Tetris. The original Super Mario Bros., Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, and the Castlevania trilogy are also notably absent from this list. I've already beaten Super Mario Bros. and the Castlevania trilogy, and I'm currently grinding against Mike Tyson himself and is only a matter of time before I bring him down. So, there's absolutely no reason for me to include any of these games on my wish list. So far, I've beaten five games on the NES with a sixth on the horizon, plus an additional Famicom-exclusive for seven games total--all on my honorable mentions.
Note, however, that these are the 100 games that I want to play and beat on NES and are not a top 100 list in the traditional sense. If there's a game you felt that I left off, let me know. But these are the games I want to play.
