My Games - Wii

I bought this thinking my sister might like playing it when she visited. Unfortunately though this looks like it should definitely be a children's game, some of the controls are really terrible. It made her frustrated trying to complete the tasks.

I loved the idea of painting levels in order to proceed, but I hated the controls and I hated the voices of the blob people.

I'm so glad that 2D sidescrollers are coming back. I received this for Christmas and have already beaten it, including the bonus world (without using tutorial pig). It's definitely not a easy game but I'm glad it isn't. It plays like an old Donkey Kong game but with lots of new ideas.

I loved this game but it was way too easy. I wish that you could actually die on a level. Because of this the game was beaten and all items acquired within probably three days. I loved the space shooter levels.

This game is just too cute. Basically you play a young king trying to explore the world and take over all of the other kingdoms. You can give your townspeople specialized jobs and then take them with you to help defeat enemies and bosses, dig holes for treasure, build bridges to continue on into new lands, etc. You also collect paintings which you can trade for bonus equipment for your helpers, build up your kingdom and castle, and listen to cute renditions of classical music. Yep.
