Zhang Ziyi: Crouching Tiger, Flying Daggers...
How I fell for Zhang Ziyi...
Images (and one gif) of the lovely Chinese star in 2 excellent Chinese action-adventure films, from early this century- Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (2000) and The House of Flying Daggers (2004), which created and then cemented her stardom.
And some more images of her besides
Writing his last article for The Independent in UK (shortly after Crouching Tiger), distinguished film critic Gilbert Adair said he was finishing his newspaper column as he had fallen in love with Zhang Ziyi. And who could blame him? Impish, supple, athletic, beautiful, vivacious, charming, feisty...and in another fine Chinese film from a decade ago, 2046 (2004), she was also very elegant, womanly and seductive.
