MY favorite performances of 2011

Alan Rickman as Severus Snape

For years I've been waiting for the redemption of Severus and this movie did not dissapoint. He was my favorite character in the books and I always had faith in him even while waiting for the last book to come out. I'm so glad they did this right in the movie and I truly feel that Alan portrayed Snape in such a way that he may be my favorite character for many years to come.

Tom Hiddleston as Loki

I'll be the first to admit that I naturally flock to bad guys and broken boys. But Tom played Loki so beautifully that I still don't think he was a villain in Thor and am excited to see him as a true villain in Avengers.

Jena Malone as Rocket

I went into this movie expecting a story about kick ass girls, but Rocket somehow was the strongest because she was the most vulnerable and that combo worked well.

Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel

I don't usually do chick flicks but this one was thought provoking for me and she really showed just how heart wrenching the situation was.

Chris Evans as Steve Rodgers

I waited impatiently for this movie for months and it did not dissappoint. The only thing I didn't like was Hugo Weaving as the bad guy. Unpopular opinion, I know, but that's just how I feel.

Jeremy Renner as William Brandt

I love Jeremy and it was nice to get to see him be funny as well as bad ass. He's done so much serious work that you son't get to see that side of him as much.
