Street Fighter IV - PlayStation 3
A great game with flawed presentation.
A replay and photo feature would have been nice. Well, more features in general, like an option to change the speed of the game. Better, more personal scoreboards are needed. Also, the music can be a bit cheesy.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix - PlayStation Network
I only recommend Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix if you have no other way to play Super Street Fighter II than to purchase this game. The HD graphics look too clean and there is no option to play it with the full original artwork (though, you can choose to play with the original character sprites). The biggest disappointment is that scores are completely absent, which lessens the replayability significantly. Once you beat the arcade, there is nothing else to work towards! Come on, guys: give me my bloody high scores!

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection - PlayStation 2
Two classic games that never cease to kick my ass.
Chaddicus's rating:
Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded - PlayStation Portable
Contains great ports of Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, and Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting. These are excellent games, but the Super Street Fighter II games are superior.
Chaddicus's rating:
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max - PlayStation Portable
Tied with Super Street Fighter II Turbo as my favourite sprite based Street Fighter game, but the PSP's lack of multiplayer makes me wish that I had bought it on PSX back in the 1990s.
Chaddicus's rating:
Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams - PlayStation
The replacement of some great SFII characters for new ones is a drawback of this game, but the addictive and responsive gameplay almost makes up for it. A larger character selection would have been nice.
NOTE: I have this on the PlayStation Network for use on PS3 and PSP, not on PSX.

Street Fighter II Turbo - Super famicom and SNES
I have this (Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting) on Wii Virtual Console, but I wish that I had it on SNES because the controller is much better than the GameCube one. Maybe the Wii classic controller is better. Regardless, this is a classic game and should not be missed.
Chaddicus's rating:
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core - PlayStation 2
This is the most fun and most beautiful 2D fighter I have ever played.
Chaddicus's rating:
Guilty Gear Judgment - PlayStation Portable
Of course I love having Guilty Gear on the go!
NOTE: I bought this on the PlayStation Network and it includes Guilty Gear Judgment and Guilty Gear XX #Reload.

Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Volume 1 - PlayStation 2
These games have grown on me, a lot. I hated them at first, but now love them all. It takes time to get used to each game, but it is well worth it as the controls are solid and the visuals are a good example of Neo Geo's sprite superiority of the 1990s.
Chaddicus's rating:
The King of Fighters XI - PlayStation 2
A large cast of characters, nice 2D visuals, excellent customization options, and tight controls. The menus lack personality and the announcer can get quite annoying.
Chaddicus's rating:
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution - PlayStation 2
One of the best 3D fighters on PS2, rivalled only by Soulcalibur III, Tekken 5 and Tekken Tag Tournament.
Chaddicus's rating:
SoulCalibur - Sega Dreamcast
A true classic 3D fighter.
NOTE: I have this on Xbox Live Arcade, not Dreamcast.

Chaddicus's rating:
SoulCalibur II - PlayStation 2
Not as pretty or deep as SoulCalibur III, but an excellent game anyway.
Chaddicus's rating:
SoulCalibur III - PlayStation 2
The best weapons based 3D fighter on PS2. Highly addictive.
Chaddicus's rating:
SoulCalibur IV - PlayStation 3
Although the gameplay is nowhere near as refined as Street Fighter IV, Soul Calibur IV is a very fun PS3 fighter with excellent visuals, and much variety. Where else can I fight with my two favorite mele weapons: the Halberd, and the Morning Star? Nowhere.
Chaddicus's rating:
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection - PlayStation Network
Better graphics and the same solid gameplay of Tekken 5. Greater character customization options and online play is a definite plus, as well.
Chaddicus's rating:
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon - PlayStation 2
An entertaining 3D version of a wonderfully eccentric franchise.
Chaddicus's rating:
Mortal Kombat II - PlayStation Network
There is no denying the classic status of this game, but, while it is still fun, there is a tremendous lack of depth in it's fighting gameplay when compared to a contemporary like Street Fighter II. Still, Mortal Kombat II is essential if not for it's originality and infamy, but for its high entertainment value, as well.

A list of all the fighting games that I own. In no certain order.
