Most anticipated movies of 2015

I know, I know, what a shock. My favorite working director has the top spot on my list.

If QT didn't have a movie coming out this year, this would easily have the number one spot. I mean...just watch that trailer. Now try not to watch it again...and again...and again from now until May. It's so...beautiful. *tear*

Currently my 2nd favorite trailer for a 2015 film. It's got nothing on Mad Max of course, but it's definitely got me anxious to check this one out.

This one caught my attention because Drafthouse Films is putting it out, so I've seen them talking about it via social media. Then I saw the trailer above, and I got goosebumps. Totally down for this one.

It's Pixar. Of course I'll see it, most likely with the kiddo in tow.

The Daniel Craig Bond films have been good with one exception, and since this time they're bringing back the same creative team that made Skyfall I'm down for this one.

Prior to Wrong Cops this film would have placed higher on my list, but since that film was kind of a mess I'm tempering my expectations here. I'll still definitely see this though as Dupieux is easily one of the most interesting directors working today.

I keep seeing that this is highly anticipated among horror releases for 2015, and after watching the trailer I'm down.

Caught the trailer for this one recently & I'm VERY intrigued. Domhnall Gleeson is an actor I'm watching closely based on the few things I've seen him in.

A new movie from John Hillcoat (The Road, Lawless). The only way I could be more excited is if Nick Cave penned the screenplay (he didn't). Sign me up.

Matthew Vaughn is on a solid directing streak so far. And the cast looks great. The only thing giving me pause here is the fact it's being dumped in the typically craptacular month of February, where failed attempts at filmmaking get unleashed on us.

This looks pretty good, and I like most of Brad Bird's movies which bodes well. So I'll check it out, I'm just not too excited about it yet.

I'll definitely see this one just because I'm so invested in the franchise at this point. Plus Marvel really stepped up their game in 2014, so I'm hoping they continue the trend. But on the other hand I thought the previous Avengers was overrated, and anticipate this one being about as good as its predecessor. Ah, but on the upside I get to see Mark Ruffalo's Banner/Hulk again. That alone may get me in to see this in the first month it's out.

It doesn't look great, but it doesn't look awful either. And since I've seen all the other films in this series & have a weakness for dinosaurs I'll almost certainly check it out. Not rushing for it though.

New Frankenstein movie told from the POV of Igor? Could be cool. I'm going to need a trailer to decide for sure though.

I dug Trick 'r Treat & this is the director's follow-up, so I'm curious about it. Again I'll need a trailer to make up my mind.

Yep, that trailer sure looks like a Star Wars movie is being made. Not that it gives any real impression of what it's about of course, which I guess is a good thing but it doesn't excite me. I mean yeah, my inner child got all riled up, but I told him to shut up & remember the prequels. Course Lucas is finally out of the picture this time around, but I'm not convinced that Abrams is the director we're looking for. So yeah, my jury is still out until further notice. I'll probably give in & go see the damned thing regardless, but you can't get me excited about it just by being excited.

I have no use for this movie honestly. But I have a kiddo & she loves the series, so that means it's almost certain I'll take her to see it. Hopefully it'll be worth sitting through.
