Amazing character development, from a weird creep who almost became the villain of series one, to the best character and hero of the show.

Also great character development, from a self-centered party girl to one of the more likable characters on the show. Unfortunately from then on the writers gave her next to nothing to do.

Highly underrated. Sure, he was the most boring of the original five, but he was a good guy who sacrificed a lot for his friends, and ultimately saved the world.

The more sensitive duplicate of Rudy. More likeable and less of a jerk than the main Rudy.

He is the funniest, most entertaining, breakout character of the show. He is also a - Giant. Massive. Twat. His loud, dumb mouth got so many people killed (including my favourite character).

The second, and most prominent, probation worker. Though she was the first major antagonist, she wasn't evil. She was motivated by the very sympathetic and understandable need to know what happened to someone she loved.

The third probation worker. Snarky and apathetic, he was fun to watch, though wasn't given a lot of depth.

Got the most fleshed out characterization and backstory of the new offenders, which was briefly touched upon in one episode and never explored any further.

Barely a character. Showed up late in the series and rarely got anything to do. When an episode finally focused on her it was jarring to see her suddenly show actual emotion.

The fifth probation worker. Basically a cartoon. Over the top psycho and repressed all the time. A joke character with little depth.
