When the farmer's away, all the animals play ... and sing, and dance. Eventually, though, someone has to step in and run things, a responsibility that ends up going to Otis, a carefree cow.

The plot generally revolves around Otis (a male cow with udders) and his barnyard friends. Otis wants to horse around, but has to be responsible and protect the inhabitants of the Barnyard. He and his friends Pip the mouse, Abby the cow, Pig, Freddy the ferret, Peck the rooster, Duke the sheepdog, and Bessy the cow have many crazy adventures, while at the same time help Otis protect the farm. The setting is unknown but it is heavily implied to be in the fictional Arizona town of Oedeville. While the setting strongly resembles Arizona (the Grand Canyon has been depicted in some episodes, i.e. Cowman and Ratboy), some have questioned whether or not it is in Arizona or a made-up setting. According to the original film and an episode of the spin off, Oedeville (which Steve Oedekerk most likely named after himself) is 20 miles from the actual city of Phoenix. There is still debate of whether this should be the official location because there are many scenes in the show where the nature background does not look at all like Arizona (it is green and hilly, whereas Arizona is more of a desert-like area which is dry, arid and sandy). Otis and his friends have to overtake many obstacles like preventing Mrs. Beady from proving that animals can talk and distracting the farmer, so that they can throw a party. In many episodes, Otis gets himself in a sticky situation where his friends have to come to the rescue, resulting in him learning a lesson. Sometimes, the animals dress up like people when out in public, which nobody notices except Mrs. Beady.

Bloom stands against the monsters and suddenly discovers she has magical powers. After saving her, Stella offers Bloom the opportunity to attend the Alfea College for fairies. Bloom joins Stella to go to Alfea. The two of them meet their other roommates: Flora, Tecna and Musa. After having an encounter against Cloudtower witches, namely the Trix, the fairies decide to form their own group. Bloom calls the five of them the Winx.

This special episode summarises the plots between episodes 7–9, 13–15, and 17–18. Bloom dreams about a mysterious nymph named Daphne. Bloom recognises her from a display board in Magix City. During Spring Break, Bloom returns home to Earth and bonds with her parents. While at Earth, Bloom dreams about her father rescuing a baby – unharmed in a fire. The next morning, Mike tells Bloom that baby she saw, was her. Bloom then realises this means that she is not Mike and Vanessa's daughter. Later on, Bloom tells Sky she wants go to the library in Cloudtower to learn more about herself. Meanwhile, the Trix plan to steal Bloom's powers as she contains the Dragon Flame inside her.
1.4 special (season 1) "The Battle for Magix" 2011.
After the Trix take Bloom's powers, the three witches take over Cloudtower and take down Headmistress Griffin. By using the power of the Dragon Flame, the Trix summon the Army of Darkness to start a reign of terror. Bloom returns to Alfea, yet powerless without the Dragon Flame. She, along with Stella, Sky, Brandon and Knut head to Cloudtower and confront the Trix, and get the flame back. After a turn of events, and from meeting with Daphne, Bloom was able to regain her powers, save Sky and join her friends in the final battle. She faced Icy one-on-one while the rest of the Winx faced Darcy and Stormy. Bloom managed to beat her rival and she and Sky have their first kiss. She then joins the celebration with her friends.
1.5 special (season 1) "The Shadow Phoenix" 2011.
In the final special, Aisha, the 17-year-old princess of Andros and fairy of waves, is seen rescuing pixies from the Shadow Phoenix. She is caught by him, and is forced down a cliff. She arrives at Alfea where she meets the Winx, but quickly faints. After waking, Bloom and Stella offer to help her. They leave Flora, Musa and Tecna in care of Piff, Aisha's bonded pixie and merely a baby. Meanwhile, The Shadow Phoenix breaks the Trix out of prison. Bloom and Stella duel with The Trix, while Aisha gets the Pixies. Later, a paladin, Professor Avalon, enrolls at Alfea, offering to help Bloom find out about her past. He takes her to the Phoenix, turning out to be a slave, where she is turned evil. The Trix are sent back to prison, however, The Trix get the Codex for him. Bloom and the Phoenix enter the Codex dimension, and the rest of the Winx and Pixies quickly follow. A duel between Bloom and the Winx occur, while Sky and the specialists arrive. Sky gets Bloom to remember him, which turns her good again. The Phoenix is defeated and everyone celebrates. The real Professor Avalon arrives. Aisha joins the Winx Club.

This special episode summarises the plots between episodes 7–9, 13–15, and 17–18. Bloom dreams about a mysterious nymph named Daphne. Bloom recognises her from a display board in Magix City. During Spring Break, Bloom returns home to Earth and bonds with her parents. While at Earth, Bloom dreams about her father rescuing a baby – unharmed in a fire. The next morning, Mike tells Bloom that baby she saw, was her. Bloom then realises this means that she is not Mike and Vanessa's daughter. Later on, Bloom tells Sky she wants go to the library in Cloudtower to learn more about herself. Meanwhile, the Trix plan to steal Bloom's powers as she contains the Dragon Flame inside her.
1.4 special (season 1) "The Battle for Magix" 2011.
After the Trix take Bloom's powers, the three witches take over Cloudtower and take down Headmistress Griffin. By using the power of the Dragon Flame, the Trix summon the Army of Darkness to start a reign of terror. Bloom returns to Alfea, yet powerless without the Dragon Flame. She, along with Stella, Sky, Brandon and Knut head to Cloudtower and confront the Trix, and get the flame back. After a turn of events, and from meeting with Daphne, Bloom was able to regain her powers, save Sky and join her friends in the final battle. She faced Icy one-on-one while the rest of the Winx faced Darcy and Stormy. Bloom managed to beat her rival and she and Sky have their first kiss. She then joins the celebration with her friends.
1.5 special (season 1) "The Shadow Phoenix" 2011.
In the final special, Aisha, the 17-year-old princess of Andros and fairy of waves, is seen rescuing pixies from the Shadow Phoenix. She is caught by him, and is forced down a cliff. She arrives at Alfea where she meets the Winx, but quickly faints. After waking, Bloom and Stella offer to help her. They leave Flora, Musa and Tecna in care of Piff, Aisha's bonded pixie and merely a baby. Meanwhile, The Shadow Phoenix breaks the Trix out of prison. Bloom and Stella duel with The Trix, while Aisha gets the Pixies. Later, a paladin, Professor Avalon, enrolls at Alfea, offering to help Bloom find out about her past. He takes her to the Phoenix, turning out to be a slave, where she is turned evil. The Trix are sent back to prison, however, The Trix get the Codex for him. Bloom and the Phoenix enter the Codex dimension, and the rest of the Winx and Pixies quickly follow. A duel between Bloom and the Winx occur, while Sky and the specialists arrive. Sky gets Bloom to remember him, which turns her good again. The Phoenix is defeated and everyone celebrates. The real Professor Avalon arrives. Aisha joins the Winx Club.
2. movie Winx Club: The Secret of the Lost Kingdom 2007.
Taking place after the events of the first three seasons.
At Alfea College, Stella, Aisha, Flora, Musa, and Tecna all graduate and become fairy guardians of their home planets. But, Bloom must watch graduation from the sidelines. The Winx try to save Bloom's parents and the planet.

Takes place sometime in the middle of Season 4.

The Queen tells the girls that they must raise the baby for a whole year. To help them, they receive newer and stronger witch powers than before! The adventure isn't over yet!

The Queen, having seen all this through her crystal ball, secretly makes it so that Doremi and co. all end up heading into the Majokai again, with the excuse to return Majorika's hair dryer. However they end up stumbling into a garden, and one of the roses reveals a baby!
The Queen tells the girls that they must raise the baby for a whole year. To help them, they receive newer and stronger witch powers than before! The adventure isn't over yet!

One day Pop was out scavenging with Hana, and found a beautiful rose inside the Queen's garden. Curious, she picked the rose and brought it home. Unwittingly, that rose can cause all wishes to become true, whether good or bad. Good wishes will turn the rose white and bloom, while bad wishes will turn the rose black and wither. After a heated argument with her sister Doremi, Pop wishes that Doremi loses all her magic and be turned into a mouse. Hilarity ensues, as Doremi and the others try to put everything back to normal.

After the losing of magical ability to become witches, they once again become them. But, now they have to go through tests from the Witches of the Witch World. They also meet a new member, from New York, U.S. comes Momoko (the yellow Ojamajo).

Mo~tto Ojamajo Doremi movie features the five witches Doremi, Aiko, Hazuki, Onpu, and Momoko as they visit Doremi's grandpa's home. Aiko rediscovers her love for grandpa, and Doremi learns a piece of the magical kingdom's past.

Na-i-sho is a 13 episode OAV series detailing the summer between the ~motto~ and the Dokkaan season. It is a bit more mature than the TV seasons, and looks to develop each of the five witches romantically. Hana is back to a baby, and the mahou shop is a bakery.
5. eps. 50. ojamajo doremi dokkan 2002-03.
Hana now becomes a peer of the Ojamajo. When Majotourbillon's spirit revives, the witches now have to break her curse. From the help from Pao-chan, Doremi, Hana, and the other witches are able to defeat the curses.
