The Witchs House - PC Games
Pro:
- Beautiful environment despite being a RPG horror game.
- Atmospheric, fitting soundtracks.
- Genuinely good scares & creative deaths.
- Very cleverly-executed & shocking twist.
Con:
- A majority of the plot is told through missable text reading, there are almost no character interactions.
- The game employs many jumpscares out of nowhere, which might get frustrating to some.
- The game could use some cutscenes/CGs at times.

Pro:
- Almost every single characters are developed through extensive cutscenes.
- Successfully invoke various mature/dark subjects effectively.
- Funny interactions/dialogs.
- Many character portraits.
Con:
- While RPG Horror games are not exactly known for their graphics, the graphics in this game is quite poor in comparison to others.
- Despite character developments, most characters does very little to contribute to the main section of the game.
- Backtracking is especially tedious in the small playable area of the entire game.
- Very few CGs.
- Almost every single characters are developed through extensive cutscenes.
- Successfully invoke various mature/dark subjects effectively.
- Funny interactions/dialogs.

Pro:
- Many variations of character portraits and depict emotions very well.
- Have voice acting that works well to enhance the situation, depict having very little of them; it is also worth noting that most RPG Horror games generally have none at all.
- Refreshing execution to a cliched horror story setting.
- Well-polished presentation overall.
Con:
- Environment seems somewhat bland.
- Aside from the main characters, the rest of the characters are somewhat underdeveloped.
- Enemy designs are as generic as you can be.
- Many variations of character portraits and depict emotions very well.
- Have voice acting that works well to enhance the situation, depict having very little of them; it is also worth noting that most RPG Horror games generally have none at all.

Pro:
- The male main character is very distinctly designed.
- Somewhat good use of sound effect to further immerse the player into the game's environment.
- Very forgiving for player making mistakes in action-oriented sequences.
- Many background information were provided throughout the entire game.
Con:
- While RPG Horror games are not exactly known for their graphics, the graphics in this game is quite poor in comparison to others.
- Aside from the hero & heroine, every other character felt like a plot device.
- Pacing was a bit poor; the most important plot elements were revealed in a series of cutscenes all clamped together, through the heroine conveniently remembering everything.
- Virtually no CGs.

- A large amount of bad endings really add to the creepy atmosphere present throughout the entire game.
Con:
- While RPG Horror games are not exactly known for their graphics, the graphics in this game is quite poor; considering that this is a PSP game.
- The RPG overworld movement controls feel stiff.
- Long load-times, especially Loading & Saving.
- Many early choices throughout the game locks the game to bad endings, meaning in order to complete the chapter; replaying the entire chapter is necessary.
- Various themes throughout the game is repeated over and over again to the point of overusing, e.g. all the Victim's Memoirs repeat themselves with only different set of characters and slightly different details.
