If you think you're too small to make a difference, try falling asleep with a mosquito in the room.
Miracle (2004)
I don't think I'd be American if I didn't have this number 1. This movie gives you hope and makes you believe you can accomplish anything. You can, and it's just a reminder, in case you forgot.

Cinderella Man (2005)
One of the greatest movies ever made in my opinion. Appeals to me for so many reasons. Definitely makes me feel like I don't do enough.

We Are Marshall (2006)
I cry like a little girl every time I see this movie. I've seen it a bunch too.
From Superior Genes's rating:
Glory Road (2006)
Oh how I love this story. I'm a huge basketball fan and I hate racism. It took real ball for a white coach to do this in the '60s. My hats off to him. Really glad it paid off!

Friday Night Lights (2004)
I lived in this town for half my life, so it's kinda a sentimental favorite. I pretty much love any movie about American football or basketball.

Remember the Titans (2000)
Appeals to me for the same reason Glory Road did, except for football. Hard to go wrong with Denzel.
From Superior Genes's rating:
This movie was a surprise to me. Hugely entertaining. I've never played golf in my life, but I love underdog stories.

The Express (2008)
Sad story about a great life being cut short too soon. Would've loved to have seen him play.
From Superior Genes's rating:
Not exactly the most amazing story, just a well made movie with some of my favorite actors.

The Blind Side (2009)
Great story about being given a chance due to someone else's kindness. I couldn't imagine doing what the Tuey family did for Michael Oher. Almost unimaginable in the south(U.S). Yes, I'm stereotyping. I live in the south, so I can.
