Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - PlayStation Portable
The main story is confusing, the 'mini-stories' in each world are interesting, but 'collectathon'-esque/Action RPG gameplay is the main reason I like it.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair - PlayStation Vita
The story is convoluted but not confusing, and the gameplay can be a bit repetitive, but the amazing characters carry the story. Favorite cast in any game I've played so far.
