Chanel No.5

Created in 1921 by Coco Chanel & Ernest Beaux
Reinterpreted in 1986 by Jacques Polge.

The top notes are neroli, ylang-ylang, peach, bergamot, and aldehydes. The middle notes include jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, iris, and May rose. Base notes capture a deep blend of Mysore sandalwood, vetiver, moss, patchouli, and Bourbon vanilla.

When I can indulge, this is my go to perfume. I LOVE IT!

Coco Mademoiselle

Launched in 2001.

An oriental fragrance with top notes of mandarin orange, orange blossom, and bergamot. Middle notes include mimosa, jasmine, Turkish rose, and ylang-ylang. The base notes are tonka bean, patchouli, opoponax, vanilla, vetiver, and white musk.

Because I love Chanel NO 5 so much, I never paid any mind to other fragrances however this recently has become a new favorite. I have a bottle and the lotion right now. Its light and has quite a bit of staying power.

Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior

Launched in 1988.

A hypnotic oriental fragrance with top notes of apricot, plum and coconut. Middle notes include tuberose, jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, Brazilian rosewood, and caraway. The base includes sandalwood, almond, vanilla, and musk.

At one point my fitness trainer suggested this to me and ever since I absolutely adore it. I feel very sexy when I wear it. Definitely an all time favorite.

Coach Wild Rose

This is a modern rose fragrance without any oversealouspowdery or plastic scent. It opens with juicy, tart red fruit and just a dash of spicy citrus liveliness from the bergamot. Then there is a jasmine note similar to that fresh jasmine petal scent that almost smells a bit honeyed. Then a sexy musky rose comes in. I also detect a faint whiff of phantom cotton candy sweetness.

I have been wearing this off and on since Christmas 2022 and I really love it. Its becoming another favorite for me.

Top notes are Red Currant and Bergamot; middle notes are Rose and Jasmine Sambac; base notes are Ambroxan, Tonka Bean and Moss.

Crystal Noir by Versace

Created in 2004 by Antoine Lie.

A rare essence that is sensual and delicate. The central note is mysterious gardenia which is entwined with amber and musk. The scent can be described as dark, mysterious, sensual, and distinct.

I love this one. Its sultry and sexy and I love how it smells on me. I am wearing it right now as I write this.

Sicily by Dolce and Gabbana

Launched in 2003 by Nathalie Lorson.

A soft whisper like lips awaiting a kiss, its top notes include Sicilian Bergamot with powdery honeysuckle. The heart consists of jasmine, black rose and hibiscus. Base notes are heliotrope, sandalwood, and musk.

Yes I admit, Monica Bellucci had a great deal to do with this one. Since I love her as an actress and model- I bought it as soon as I could and its another long standing favorite now.

Casmir by Yves Saint Laurent

Launched in 1992 by Michel Almairac.

An oriental fragrance with top notes of peach, apricot, black currant, and raspberry. Middle notes include mandarin orange, cinnamon , and carnation. Base notes are vanilla, benzoin, tonka bean, and opoponax.

This one is so exotic and I love to wear it to this day. Its definitely a stronger spicier scent so I refrain from wearing it in the summer months. I feel like a true Arabic princess when I do wear it.

Olympea

Launched in 2015 by Loc Dong & Anne Flipo.

Meant to be the female equivalent to Invictus, the concept behind it is a Greek Goddess who evokes strength, dynamism, and conquests. It is a salty and floral composition is characterized as a fresh oriental with sparkling green mandarin, water jasmine, ginger lily, and salted vanilla. The base notes are sandalwood, cashmere, and ambergris.

This is a recent add to my favorites. I randomly received a sample of it and I happily found out I liked it so its a keeper now.

Chanel No.19

Launched in 1970 in honor of Coco Chanel's birthday by Henri Robert.

A floral woody green fragrance with a white and green floral harmony. Top notes are green notes and bergamot which mingles with a heart of rose and iris. The base notes include vetiver, oakmoss, and leather.

Because I had to be different and original from my mother and sister, as a young girl I chose this perfume over Chanel No5. I still like its scent and it brings back some very fond memories.

Chanel Allure

Launched in 1999 by Jacques Polge.

"Difficult to define, Impossible to resist." This is a clean, sheer, warm and sexy fragrance. Top notes are mandarin orange, May rose, and vanilla. It also includes intoxicating passion fruit with peony and a warmer Oriental facet.

This one I always liked however my sister continually wears it so I opt to not now. I know I am incredibly odd about being different. I still favor the scent and it always reminds me of my sister.

Safari by Ralph Lauren

Created in 1990 by Dominique Ropion.

A floral aroma with a light breeze scented by grasses, freedom, and open vast space. Top notes are galbanum, mandarin, and hyacinth. Aldehydes are in the composition and the heart is a gorgeous bouquet of rose, lily of the valley, narcissus and iris. The base includes vetiver, moss, Tonka bean, and stryax.

This was the perfume I was given as a birthday present and never forgot. I love the bottle and I love the scent. One of my favorites for sure.

J'adore by Christian Dior

Created in 1999 by Calice Becker.

A slightly sharp floral with a top note of fresh mandarin, a heart of jasmine, plum, orchid, and rose. Its base includes amaranth, musk and blackberry.

Bought for me and I really did love it however I felt as if it was used up entirely too fast. I believe the bottle sprays out way too much at once. I like it however I probably will not ever purchase it again as it goes just way too fast and I am a minimalist when it comes to spraying.

Delices de Cartier

Created in 2006 by Christine Nagel, reintroduced in 2008 as a limited edition.

Notes include frosted cherry, pink pepper, and bergamot. The heart notes are three kinds of jasmine, violet, and freesia. Base notes include sensual amber, Tonka bean and sana.

This is a cherry sensation that I just love. I always have a bottle of it around and its a very enticing fragrance to me.

Gucci Guilty

Created in 2010 by Aurelian Guichard.

Includes notes of mandarin, pink pepper, peach, lilac, geranium, amber, and patchouli.

I love this peppery, spicy scent. I tried it on at Ulta one day and immediately purchased a bottle. I absolutely adore the intensely beautiful scent, its a spicy but sweet floral essence blend. A favorite.

Eternity by Calvin Klein

Created in 1988 by Sophia Grojsman.

The composition opens with citrus and green notes, followed by notes of violet, lily of the valley, and carnation. The base includes heliotrope, pink sandalwood, and musk.

Yes I wore it and I still love it. It brings back many, many memories and I still love the unique scent. I think I always will.

Mon Guerlain

Launched in 2017, created by Thierry Wasser & Delphine Jelk.

Inspired by the "notes of a woman" which include lavender and vanilla.

Another discovery that I never gave much mind to, I tried it when I got my little samples in the mail. I do plan to keep this one in my perfumerie for many years to come.

Tresor by Lancome

Created in 1990 by Sophia Grojsman.

A warm oriental floral with a composition of rose, heliotrope, orris, apricot, and iris.

One of my very first more expensive fragrances as a young lady. I love the floral quality to it. Its my happy light scent that I will always adore.

Joy by Jean Patou

Presented in 1929. Launched in 1930, created by Henri Almeras. Second best selling perfume of all times.

The composition begins with jilt tuberose, rose, ylang-ylang blossom, aldehydes, pear and green notes. The heart beats with jasmine, and iris root. The base includes musk, sandalwood, and musky civet tones.

One that I always had on my perfume tray as I loved it. I have not had it in quite some time but I definitely remember it well.

Dune

Launched in 1991, created by Jean-Louis Sieuzac & Nejla Barbir.

Top notes include bergamot, mandarin, palisander, aldehyde, peony, and broo. The heart consists of jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, lily, wallflower, and lichen. The base includes vanilla, patchouli, benzoin, sandalwood, amber, oakmoss, and musk.

Another one I received as a young lady. I was always complimented when I wore it so it stays in my favorite collection.

Dolce Garden by Dolce and Gabanna

Launched in 2014, reintroduced in 2018 and create by Violaine Collas

Dolce Garden opens with white flowers, fresh and fruity notes like mandarin, neroli, and magnolia. The fragrance is reminiscent of the Mediterranean sunshine. The heart includes petals of frangipani, ylang-ylang,and coconut. The base turns slightly gourmand with vanilla, almond milk, and the woods.

I love this scent as it is very fresh and sunny to me.

Nina by Nina Ricci

Created in 1987 by Olivier Cresp & Jacques Cavalier, reintroduced in 2006.

An elegant floral fruity gourmand with the scent of candied fruits. The composition begins with notes of lemon and lime. The heart includes candied apple, praline, vanilla, peony, and Moonflower. The base consists of apple tree, white cedar, and musk.

I always loved this one. It is fun, fruity and smells like a fairytale dream to me.

Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger

Launched in 1996, created by Calice Becker.

The top notes are black currant, camelia, mandarin orange, and apple tree blossom. The heart includes honeysuckle, violet, lily, mint, grapefruit, lemon and rose. Base notes are magnolia, leather, sandalwood, jasmine and cedar.

I wore this after my first love, aptly named Tommy purchased it for me. I wore it the whole time we were together as it was his favorite however after he cheated, I never finished the bottle I had. I guess I still like it a bit but the memories attached annoy me now more than anything. It is sitting at the vanity collecting dust.

Sunflowers by Estee Lauder

Launched in 1993, created by David Apel.

The top notes are composed of lemon notes, rosewood, orange blossom, mandarin orange, bergamot, melon, and peach. The heart consists of notes of cyclamen, rose, pure jasmine, osmanthus, and iris root.
The base is composed of sensual musk, cedar, amber, moss, sandalwood and a contribution of course -sunflowers.

Another young girl fragrance I loved at one point. When worn, I always felt bright, happy, and full of positivity!

360 by Perry Ellis

Launched in 1992, created by Sophia Grojsman.

The top notes are melon, mandarin, osmanthus, and blue rose. The heart introduces lemon green notes of lily of the valley, lotus, and sage. The base is sandalwood, amber, vanilla, vetiver, and sensual musk.

Got this because my mother already had a bottle. It was nice but not something I regularly would purchase. I wore it till it was gone and that was it.

Kim Kardashian by Kim Kardashian

Launched in 2009, created by Claude Dir.

The fragrance has top notes of refreshing mandarin, floral lemon honeysuckle, and orange blossom. The heart blooms with pink jasmine, tuberose, gardenia, and spice. The base includes Tonka bean, jarcanda wood, vanilla orchid, musk, and sandalwood.

Yes I bought this cheapy one at Walmart. I liked the notes in it and I still do. I have the bottle and the lotion. Its a nice fragrance and I have received many compliments on it. Good when low on cash purchase for sure. A great autumn/winter fragrance.

Candies

I received this as a young lady. I know I liked it then however I cannot recall the scent now real well. I remember the bottle. lol

Paris by Yves Saint Laurent

I purchased this because my sorority sister smelled so nice when wearing it however it did not smell the same with my body chemistry so I gave it to her. Smells very nice on some people, just not me.

Beautiful by Estee Lauder

My Aunt had too many of these so she gave me a bottle. A nice concoction but probably not something I would purchase myself.

Guess

Another First perfumes handed down to me by my mother.

Vampire

This was a spontaneous purchase from Rite Aid, to my shock the cheap parfum spray was a very nice scent however it had almost no lasting power.

Liz Claiborne

A hand me down perfume from my mother. Nice scent. Fun bottle.
