Here are some different versions of the girl who grew up being unnoticed by the rest of the world.
Often she is not that good looking until a point where she then becomes the most beautiful girl there is.
She comes from a poor family, and does not have a high-ranked job.
There are people making plots against her, to keep her down.
Despite all that, she still gets her prince!
The movies that are in this list, have all these criterias, more or less.
When I first made this list, I wanted to keep to the tradition and to how I pictured Cinderella to be (-my memories from childhood). But then I became aware of that we also have the modern Cinderella!! The modern Cinderellas might be not as clear, but I still saw some similarities with the characteristics of the traditional Cinderella.
Therefore there will be some movies that might seem a little too far out from "Cinderella", but if you think closly, I'm sure you will see that they are "The Modern Cinderella"!:)
