This list was created by and with the predictions from Stephen H Koontz
((Based on U.S. Domestic Grosses))
While I was pretty close on several predictions I only ended up with one correct position guess... after ten years of predicting. But hey, it's still fun! Special note, 20 of the 25 predictions were at least in the actual top 25, so I'm pretty happy with that!
Another year with several surprises (Always a good thing)
It's rare I get the #1 spot wrong, but "Black Panther" surprised us all by making an insane amount of money. I think my "Mary Poppins" prediction was one of the worst I've made yet, haha. I knew "Incredibles 2" would be a hit, but wow, it became Pixar's biggest yet. I figured "Solo" would underperform because of the stupid director change-up and the stupid release date; but it made even less than I thought. I went too high on The Rock's movies, is his draw waning? Probably not too much, but he needs to start doing better movies. Finally, how did "The Grinch" make so much? It's a mystery.
#11: A Star is Born; $215
#15: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse; $190
#16: A Quiet Place; $188
#21: Halloween; $159
#22: The Meg; $145
Enjoy!
