Best of World Animation (Tue 15 Nov)
It was something of a clean sweep for the Estionian Déjeuner sur l'herbe, which deservedly took the Zagreb Grand Prix, the category prize and the local film critics' prize. In fact, Estionia was in great form, and we have also invited a marvellous puppet-animated parable, War. It was a strong year, too, for North America, and we include two zany independents, two of the Candian Film Board's best and John Lasseter's latest 3-D computer animation. Plus a strong contribution from from Poland and a treat (brief though) from Hungary.
