Watchmen (2009)
This will always be the best superhero story ever told. Nuff' said!

Spider-Man 2 (2004)
The best Marvel adaptation. A better version of The Amazing Spider-Man #50 with the correct balance between substance and fun.
danimunoz1532's rating:
Logan (2017)
The emotional stakes are taken to the max in this story about family, connections, and perseverance.
The Dark Knight (2008)
Improvement over the original with a fun villain and bombastic action. The special effects aged really well.
Okay, now we enter the top 5. The following are the GOAT in the entire genre. Winter Soldier has an amazing atmosphere, with amazing direction, and amazing performances. The story is great; it has a few inconsistencies with the rest of the universe, but the sociopolitical implications hit very close to the real world resulting in powerful messages concerning freedom, security, and how a man that comes from a more rational time period can feel when confronted with the more irrational morality of the post-modern world.
X-Men: First Class (2011)
It is pretty much an improved version of the origin of the X-Men. It is awesome to see superheroes getting involved in world affairs of big significance. This movie probably had the best versions of this characters outside of the comics. All the characters are interesting and have something going on. It is simply the most rounded team-up movie on the list.
Batman Begins (2005)
Fun adventure with Batman. The tone these movies set up is impressive, as well as how much the direction compliments that tone. It is also great to see a version of Bruce Wayne that is not perfect at everything and actually NEEDS assistance in his fight against crime.
Spider-Man (2002)
Spider-Man, since its conception, has a great message and a great origin story for one of Marvel's best heroes, if not the best. However, this movie did not age very well. Sam Raimi definetly let himself go a little too much at times, but it still a great story on paper with a style that is all its own.
This movie stands out for its surprising amount of substance and internal conflict considering its premise and presentation. It pretty much reminds me of Futurama in that regard. The funny moments, while a little much at times, are funny, and the emotional moments and internal conflict are what make this movie.
X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
You have to make a lot of concessions with this one as you would with any time-travel story, but surprisingly enough, the time-travel stuff does not matter. You could cut the future segments and you are still left with a powerful film about a man's purpose on life being reborn after a lifetime of hardships with an amazing direction backing it up. Unfortunetly, some characters make stupid decisions for the plot to happen, but it is still a good movie.
Iron Man (2008)
Iron Man's origin story is one of the most bullet-proof in the entire Marvel universe; it is pretty much impossible to go wrong with this classic tale of redemption and spiritual rebirth. The first and second halves are some of the best in the entire genre, while the last third is kinda bad, but it does not ruin the movie.
Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Another fun film with more elaborate action, more character development, more emotional stakes, and a better villain than the majority of theses kinds of flicks. It has its issues, but for what it is, it is solid. The two protagonists are still my two favorite traditional superheroes in film.
These is a list of all the superhero films that do NOT suck. They are not much as you can notice.
