Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Song: "Jai Ho" by A.R. Rahman.
To be perfectly honest, this, for the most part, is a downer of a movie. That changes at the very end with the dance number choreographed to this number. It's a wonderful song for a beautiful ending.

After three hours of watching the depressing people living out their depressing lives, most people were wondering if there would ever by any light. At the end, that question is answered with this song, giving a glimmer of hope for every character.

Rushmore (1998)
Song: "Ooh La La" by The Faces.
The movie itself was already a classic, but adding this song added a whole feeling. Summing up the entire plot in just a few lyrics, it goes further, adding a layer of hopefulness to the characters that just makes the movie worthwhile.
