This is the list of exceptional or GOOD quality remakes that met or exceeded expectation based on the animation quality and stories of the original series. In some cases these remakes are a great counter part to the former show or even a better replacement. The old shows will always be great but sometimes they can surprisingly be re-made with such effort and care that the original however changed is still alive in the new work with possibly new life to it.
