Batman & Robin (1997)
Michael Gough, who plays Alfred, was the only actor who was not given bad lines or forced to act like a moron. His scenes are the closest thing to sincerity the film has.

Battleship (2012)
Liam Neeson gives a very noble performance as a U.S. Navy captain, even though the movie is based on a board game. His co-stars are Rihanna and Taylor Kitsch, which should tell you a lot about this movie's quality.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
Edison Force (2005)
Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman have the best scenes in the movie. Unfortunately, they had to share the limelight with Justin Timberlake and Dylan McDermott.
Ed Speelers and Jeremy Irons play their characters in a very convincing way despite the screenwriters' efforts to the contrary.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
Pete Postlethwaite is the only one who gives a serious performance in this movie and his character ends up being the most memorable. After working with Postlethwaite, Steven Spielberg called him "the best actor in the world."
The Matrix (1999)
Keanu Reeves delivers a serious and dignified performance even when the plot twists become more and more ridiculous.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)
Sienna Guillory did her best as Jill Valentine, even watching game footage to perfect her performance. Unfortunately, Alice ends up stealing the limelight and becomes a ridiculously overpowered character in the sequels. Can you blame Guillory for not returning for the third movie?
Starship Troopers (1997)
Everyone tried to take this movie seriously even though it is a parody of military jingoism. Exceptions include Michael Ironside, Clancy Brown and possibly Neil Patrick Harris.
Supergirl (1984)
Helen Slater was very likable but her sincerity got lost in a story that does not make any sense.
Superman III (1983)
Christopher Reeve valiantly played Superman even when this movie sucked.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
Once again, Christopher Reeve was the only one who gave a serious and emotional performance. Contrast Gene Hackman, who was only there for a paycheck, and Jon Cryer, who was camping it up.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
TRON: Legacy (2010)
This movie is not bad per se, but it puts greater focus on special effects than on the story and the characters. However, Olivia Wilde, Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner ended up doing great jobs.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
Whether the movies are good or bad, it is clear Peter Cullen delivers a stellar performance as Optimus Prime.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Billy Burke, Anna Kendrick and Dakota Fanning delivered the best performances in this collective piece of garbage.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
Everyone except Ryan Reynolds and Danny Huston.
Leader Vladimir's rating:
Every actor will end up doing at least one bad movie in their careers. However, some of them choose to be professional and give it their all, even when the movie is a complete failure.
