4th destination - Germany

A German school teacher buys a ring from a street trader which is meant to lead to his soul mate and also leads him to make a journey to Istanbul to find that girl

Well this was okay but relied too much on coincidence and destiny to drive it along. The action sequences are weirdly paced so have no real impact

3rd destination - South Korea

South Korea's film industry seems to specialise in horrors and rom-coms so it was easy to find a rom-com... but this is a little different.

A young woman with mental issues believing she is a cyborg is committed to a hospital where she meets an assortment of equally strange characters...

This is almost totally different from the start but its very hard to relate to any of the characters and plays like a bizarre fantasy with a little humour and little romance

Not as good as I thought it would be...but an interesting film nonetheless - worth seeing for a few fantasy sequences

Rated high for the originality of it all and its kind of cute

2nd destination - Norway

A group of teens keen on acting want to stage a more passionate play than usual with the help of an actor. The lead actress must work with a young man who she hates...

Well this was pretty gritty and a more realistic version of a rom com though it still suffers heavily once th stage is set and we just know the actress will fall for the guy ...rom com writers must find it damn near impossible to work this cliche

Anyway pretty good

1st destination - France

1958. Rose is a terrible secretary but a demon typist. Her handsome boss resolves to turn her into the fastest girl in the world.

This French flm starts off fine with a few chuckles within the first 20 minutes but slips quickly into rom-com formula. Nicely done and the setting late 1950s plus the typing competition make it more interesting than normal
