Year 2021 | Games

I was trying to reach the 64 hours mark on Steam, but then I got the Xbox and PES 2021. After that I stopped playing it. But it's good.

The first game I finished this year and I found it to be boring. You just go around pressing A bunch of times to advance a story that is not very interesting. The dialogue is good, and the graphics are appealing, but there's nothing noteworthy beyond that.

It's short enough for me not to give up on it, but I wouldn't say it's a great game. The idea of using teleportation to solve puzzles is interesting. That's it. That's all I can say that is good about it. I don't necessarily like 8 bit graphics, so it doesn't do it for me, and the soundtrack is good, but felt very limited and not memorable enough.

I wanted to train a little bit of Mortal Kombat, since it's so cool to do the fatalities, but I got bored pretty quickly. It also takes to much space on the Xbox harddrive.

This is a famous game. I downaloaded it just to check it out, but it didn't grab me necessarily. Since it took too much space on my Xbox harddrive, I deleted it. It's not bad, but it may not be made for me.

I may try the new one at some point though.

I really liked SoulCalibur III on PlayStation 2, and this one is great too, but it just didn't grab me enough for me to continue playing it now. Maybe in the future I'll try it again.

I played this on Xbox a little bit. It was fun. It was certainly interesting that it has a first person view now. But then I uninstalled it. It's not interesting enough for me to keep playing it.

I tried this game again because I'd really like to finish it. I have a strong interest in the Dark Souls series and I think I should play the first one, even though I know that the later games are said to be better. I just wanted to finish this one.

This is a Donkey Kong Country copycat. Actually, I think it's a Rayman Legends copycat, but inferior. Since I didn't finish Rayman Legends yet, I'll pass this one for now. I have too many better games to play before getting to this level of games.

I'll be honest: I didn't like this game very much as I was playing. At some point I was just hoping it would end. But I got to admit I had fun at times while playing, especially during the Sans and Papyrus stretch.

Alphys is lame and the final part is worse because of her contant interrupting.

But after I finished the game I started searching for things about it and I found out how deeper it can be. It grew on me somehow. And it is true: I felt every death, and I was sadden by them, even though the constant reminding of the reason I was there filled me with determination.

It's an important game for the gaming industry, one with real morality. I have no intention of ever playing it again to see the other endings because I found the gameplay boring, but the story and the morality system behind are very admirable. The soundtrack is very enjoyable too.

I finally started Dark Souls III. It's been "intense". My plan was to play it before Enden Ring to get a feel for the Souls games. I only played the first one and for a very short time. I don't know if I'll have time for that once the new year starts because I'll have a lot of things to do, but it may be fun to play it through out the year.

This is the sequel to Tomb Raider, a game a played around two years ago. I remember liking it, but I quickly remembered that it has a lot of quick time events. The graphics still hole up very well.

I think this is the third time I start this game. It's certainly the most interesting one out of the Assassin's Creed series to me. I know it's a very long gameplay, but I may play it every now and then to completion. It's been fun.
