Pictures not showing.

I tried to post a picture, and when viewing it there is just a blank square.

What happened?

yepp..same to me for all Pics from the last 20 Hours,you can only see Thumbs,but when you click on the Pic its a blank Site.Sometimes a refresh helps,but then the Pic show up a few Seconds. I just want to download one Pic and get a " Network Error " Message..

Hello, I am experiencing the same issue. Even after hitting Refresh a bunch of times, the pictures do not show.

Having the same problem thumnails show but wont load full pics

Image server problems are back. Failure to load, broken thumbnail. Old or new.

This I obtained from the thumbnail:

The thumbnail appears to be merely a scaled down display of the bigger image—ironically, because the bigger image can't be retrieved through the normal server.

Seems to be affecting things uploaded recently, but not the most recent images, as those look okay.

I seem to have the same problem, today I went to update one of my lists, I post the pictures save them, but then you just get a blank spot...

Hello, I am experiencing the same issue.

Seems to break down gradually. Yesterday, March 29, it starts to break, but occasionally the uploads went ok. Then, about 22 hrs ago the last image that seemed to take: www.listal.com/viewimage/25056692


Edit: Of course, now it seems older pictures on my lists that had been working are now broken, also.

This seems to happen periodically, then go away. Has anyone determined/explained the root cause?

Appears to be fixed. I'm guessing it was a permissions problem -- server not able to read the image files.

Yeah, I've been having this very issue since last night. Thumbs, but can't display full pic in lists or anything. And when you click on pic, empty box of doom :-(

Appears to be the same problem again. Images won't resolve to full size.

Either it's resolved again or it's hit and miss. The pics that won't open, try refreshing the page.

Hii guys! I have an issue - that not related to the topic - but I do need a bit of help
I used to use "facebook login" to log in - but after I had cleared cookies from my browser and got logged out of my profile [Likho] I can't log back in via fb bc its not 'authorised' as an app?

And for the love of god I can't remember the password - and I have not received any retrieve link when I clicked on "forgotten".

Does anyone know how to fix this please?

@ leafs - Yeah it looks like the broken thumbnail demon has revisited us again! We need to reach out to Tom, because it's probably a server glitch.

Well, the Broken Thumbnail Demon has definitely revisited Listal again!

I've noticed this a lot of recent, comes and goes, but its pretty bad at the moment.

Love the way the image is now briefly showing itself before vanishing and giving you a blank screen with a small '?' in the middle of the page.

Yes, same here. Can see the preview but when clicking on the image nothing shows.

I'm having problems with images not showing too.

Ok so I am not the only one with image issues. After clicking a thumb the umage displays for about 3 seconds or so then poof!!

Images are well and truly broken right now. Can't even post images on lists because I can't see the images when I try to look at galleries.

Pictures came back temporarily but have died again...

Sometimes it happens, after some hours it is usually solvew...posted pics in the meantime will be not visible, only the preview will

Tom, is a permanent solution being devised? Pictures are now frequently broken.

Everything appears to be broken; probably a server issue.

Very few pics. are loading.

sal3000 - not that this is the correct post for your issue with the Phoebe Cates profile picture, but only the creator of her profile can delete anything, however the profile picture can be changed by any signed in member, that said some members are a bit precious about this and keep changing the profile pictures back to their favourite image.

I think it's a server issue, but none of the picture are showing in full format.

Interestingly, whenever I'm using a VPN (making it appear I'm in the United States), pictures always seem to show up. But browsing in Australia without a VPN, the pictures are frequently not showing.

Server seems to have been down for hours now, just FYI

So is this on-off picture issue just part of Listal now? No permanent fix in sight?
