Pictures not showing.

Some images the thumbnail isn't showing at all, so it's impossible to click on it

Ugh, Site falls apart (for the 50,001th time)…

What I'm seeing, and thought might be a Google Chrome issue, was a really long delay loading the pics, which was resulting in broken thumbs. I uploaded about 30 pics yesterday and they're all visible to me.

I am having issues uploading. It freezes and when refreshing the page, I get broken thumbnails and the images don't show either.

Site seemed to be down for a number of hours today so maybe some things will take longer to get back to normal.

@pdw55, 19 hours by my clock. Wondering of Tom did a server reboot, or did the system crash again?

Same for me. I uploaded like thousands of photos this week alone and most of them are unviewable outside of thumbnails.

Maybe it's time to do fix/change the servers?

If you see the previous post 'New uploads broken' this has been happening since Sunday. We were moved to a new server a month or two back, unfortunately stability is still very questionable. Tom has been messaged re the current issue but without luck, perhaps he is away at present as normally he fixes this fairly quickly!

Yeah, all pics I've uploaded are broken. It needs to be looked into why this happens every so often.

The thumbs aren't broken, which makes me think it's probably the same issue Tom's encountered (not sure what the compu-jargon is,...) when you enlarge the picture?

Looks like it's been resolved.

Then again,....so, adding a picture via URL is OK, uploading pics from my downloads gets hung up and ultimately yield a broken thumb (the whole sized picture is OK, though). Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, thumbnails for lists often will not generate.

Observation:

Newer pics—uploaded in the past few months, at least—will not generate thumbnail for lists. Older photos will work with no problem.

Was this before or after the 500 ERROR incident? Maybe Tom should be alerted?

I think it's actually been a week or so.

Hello again, I too am getting the broken thumbnails when trying to view the full picture.

Pics are loading again but any broken pics I uploaded have to be deleted it looks like.

I have just emailed Tom re this issue. Can I suggest you do as well.

All of the above and more: when I tried to download a few pictures, the weren't saved in the usual "1118full-hotcelebname.jpg"but instead as a WEBP file with just the picture number.

So, this pic: www.listal.com/viewimage/30723067 is only being saved as "30723067.webp"

For the record, using Chrome, which just did an unannounced upgrade over the weekend.

I’m guessing Tom must be aware of this already because ‘Most watched actors & actresses’ has recently been fixed but yeah still can’t upload any images, just appearing as broken thumbnail.
