The game is set after the film, where new Oscorp executive Alistair Smythe (an expert in nano-technology), plans to create more cross-species experiments using the research of Dr. Curt Connors (aka The Lizard). But the cross-species experiments escape, causing havoc in Manhattan. To combat the cross-species, which Spider-Man is one of, Alistair Smythe develops a large group of robots but winds up causing more harm to the city than good. It's now up to Spider-Man to save the city from both the cross-species experiments and robots

All The Video Games I Have Beaten In My Lifetime (1185 games items)"The best spider-man game ever made since spider-man 2 that was based off the movie! It has an interesting opening as you are taken on a tour of oscorp and things just go insane from there. The entire New York City gets infected with cross species and its up to the webslinger to save the day.
