Description: A downloadable version of the classic 1996 N64 game, provided through Nintendo's Virtual Console service. Designer Shigeru Miyamoto's Mario sequel is considered by many to be one of the greatest videogames of all time. The title successfully proved that the famously polished, tried-and-true 2D play mechanics of the Super Mario Bros. series could be translated to 3D and, indeed, even in some cases improved upon. "Hyvin todennäköisesti paras tasoloikkapeli mitä koskaan on tehty. Näin uudelleenpeluulla tosin, kun tietää missä kaikki tähdet ovat peli on turhan usein hyvin nopeatempoista tähdistä toiseen juoksemista, mutta erityisesti ensipelauksella tämä oli kyllä erittäin kiehtova kokemus. Virtual Console-versio on tällä kertaa poikkeuksellisesti selkesti alkuperäisversiota parempi kun grafiikat ovat tarkemmat.
