Description: Mega Man is again at the center of a new battle, and along with the return of Zero, the two must venture into the heart of enemy territory and destroy any possible threat by the Red Alert Syndicate. "Este Mega Man X lo tenía todo para ser un buen juego, sin embargo terminó siendo un potencial desperdiciado por el mal manejo del 3D y la jugabilidad, y porque X lo ponen como personaje desbloqueable, debió ser inicial al comienzo ya que el es el prota. Lo que le salvo a este juego, es la banda sonora, no digo de que este juego sea el peor de la franquicia, pero comparado a los demás Mega Man X, es el más mediocre de esta sub-serie del bombardero azul."
